I am not working on the game but I expect ninjas. Cat people, well, something that CO players were asking for was a humanoid side-kick creation system. Therefore, players can make any humanoid henchman they want.

Something cool about WoW was you could tame the rare boss like creature, and have a pet that stood out in terms of appearance. There is also a stable where you could store these creatures. Too many WoW references, I know, but I feel like they nailed the pet system.

After watching the latest video, I started thinking about a power set. I think clones would be an awesome power :)3

There is going to be a poll question on pets soon. So it is good that this thread has become active again.

Pets are still for after launch. But they are fun. Was it a positive or a negative that the Arsonist in the old Thugs team seemed to be unable to restrain himself? Always agro'ing one more more mob...

that was great in coh, you could just set them to a basic stance (aggressive, defensive, etc) and ignore, or you could micro manage pets if you wanted to. Fully half of my macros were for telling my pets what to do lol. I *loved* the option in macros to say part of the name instead of the whole thing... I'd name my defensive pets something that had a d, and no a.. name my aggressive pets the other way around. So my healbot (defensive) might be Fred, while my attack bot (aggressive) might be Alex. Then my other MM with zombies would follow the same name scheme, and both MMs could use the same macro set. It was awesome.

The suggestion of catgirls and ninjas made me think of the card game SPANC (space pirate amazon ninja catgirl) and in that game, the catgirls had pool boys as pets :P

I'll be happy with a small vanity pet that follows me around ... let me see... a small robot of some sort that will hold my loot ... or harvest stuff...

Again, CO's raptor, bears, & wolves were monotonous :lol:

Being able to Customize the base model of humanoid, and robotic pets, would be a ginormous plus to SOH.

Are there going to be different tiers, like CO? Are we going to be able to tame creatures like WoW? Are we going to have multiple pets, or one more powerful single pet?

If it's one pet, it could get upgrades as we level. If it's a wild pet we tame, it could level up with us and get better stats as it grows.
We could start with something cute like this Image

and then have it grow and upgrade into something like this
