Actually, I am glad it didn't come out. NCSoft has a very bad rep in my opinion. That game could have already been shut down by now.

There was a sweet spot in pop culture history where I think this would have been a huge success. The presentation hits on the then success of the dark Knight trilogy and Iron Man, but the mania hadn't even peeked yet. Sometime around the second Avengers movie would have been the perfect time to launch this, with people having an insatiable appetite for more and more superhero content, and the success of the movie franchises to fuel it. The appetite is still there, but NC Soft missed their window of opportunity by shutting down the game and passing on a successor.

...Too bad for them.
