Does everyone have permission to read and post in here or just the beta testers?

I would recommend to give reading access to beta testers only.
A game’s graphics are meant to appeal. A game’s mechanics are meant to make you feel amazing or challenged. A game’s sound effects are supposed to add life. But a good game’s UI is meant to disappear!

There's no reason for them to hide anything. People will be streaming what they are doing during CCT Beta. Those that aren't testing can watch and give feedback on what they see.

Yes, everyone is free. we made this Beta a reward for donors, but the CCT is something that affects everyone who plans to play SoH, so the more the merrier. Everyone should share their opinions.

Our code team feels bullish...they are just polishing one or two little things. So we plan to allow download a day or two early, and then turn on the city at noon on the first.

I need to confirm this order with the coders, but we finished the last check of the city itself last night, and we sent the first emails (confirming email address, NOT sending key or links) to over 500 donors who qualify for the Beta.

Any idea what the expected download size will be?
I'm interested to get an idea of how quickly I can download the CCT Beta :geek:

6.75 GB (7,251,350,585 bytes)

It will default to C:/Ship of Heroes however you can change that by clicking on the browse button before download

Well darn, had a couple crashes while trying to load the front end. Then the time 20:20 hours 10-31 expired before i got in. :oops: :shock: :oops:

I had this then realised I was the problem
1. create account on the link (don't use your forum details), click on the New Account at the bottom
2. setup the account
3. confirm the account (another email link)
4. log in to the account creation page again with the confirmed account
5. copy the key from the first email and click on Register Key
6. log in to the game
