Hi
Just wondering if there are any stats on the global distribution of members or subscribers? What is the global interest in the game?
It would be interesting on who has gathered here as I am from the UK and not surprisingly I seem to be in the minority.
Did EU servers have a natural low pop or did they all play on the US servers?

I'm in the UK too. I played CoH since beta but spent all my time on Union as far as I remember when I played - mostly as Human Flea. I was in LLOD and some other people I played with were: Kryogen, Zak, Emba, Zolt, Hot Plate, Lux Nocturnum, Essence, Baff, Fallout Boy... can't remember many more, it's been a long time.
I still remember the Terra Volta TF runs. Amazing fun.
I do hope there's a good Blighty contingent playing this game. I quite enjoyed being in a mostly UK/EU supergroup in CoH mainly for the silly sense of humour and stupid in-jokes that only we'd get. :p
(No offence to anyone anywhere else - I'm happy teaming with anybody!

There are a lot of people on these forums from the UK. Some just are not very vocal. Others, like Jesters Ghost and Lunawisp, are quite vocal!

Hey! I resemble that remark... um...There are a lot of people on these forums from the UK. Some just are not very vocal. Others, like Jesters Ghost and Lunawisp, are quite vocal!![]()
Yes lol, I'm in the UK. I used to play on Defiant. The EU servers were never as heavily populated as the US ones and there were fewer of them. Luckily though, the game was the same and it attracted the same sort of people

lunawisp was my Peacebringer in City of Heroes - she lives on in memory as my gaming id.

We do have a strong UK contingent. We have distribution for people subscribed to the YouTube, and UK is number 2 after north America.
I think there will be a slightly different distribution of players, though. With what I know right now, it is hard to predict.

I'm in the UK, but always played on the original US-based servers. Had too many friends to swap when they released the UK servers, and I never had any connection or lag issues.

I second that.

I'm in the UK. Played on Defiant up until the CoH servers merged. It was a fairly quiet server but that often ended up being a positive rather than a negative. Looking forward to playing with people from all over the world. I'm totally used to interacting with Americans by now.

I'm well amused that this became the "UK thread"
Re: Global location of members
Los Angeles, but based on my work/sleep patterns and game populations, I almost always play on European servers.
