Update: Copy key, login to URL provided, Register Key with key from e-mail. Profit!

For the record, I was just in the event 5 minuutes ago. And I use the same system that all of you use.

Just to be sure, we went into the database and extended everyone who has registered so far, out to April 9th.

The key should have been on the same email

The key will give temporary access to a rough test version of Ship of Heroes.

1. Go to the SOH Event Registration Login page. Create an account with the email address that received the registration key email or log in to your existing account if you have participated in prior tests, and register your key.
2. Record your username and password so you can use it to log in.

If you already installed the client you can skip to step 4. If you have not already downloaded the client:

3. Download and install the SoH Community Event Client.
4. When installation is complete load up the launcher and allow it to grab the latest patch. Then click the PLAY button.
5. Log in using the username and password from Step 1.
6. Post your feedback in the forums.

Note, because this step was slightly confusing; after you create an account on the website, that you need to notate your username and password you created on, you then need to refresh the website and LOG IN to be able to put in your registration code. Once that is done, continue on with steps 3 and beyond. The instructions kinda skip that step and it doesn't work without it.

1: go to the website above
2: create an account AND LOG IN, or log in if you already have one (note your username and password
3: enter your code on this website to register

Maybe you should put this in its own thread and sticky it. Probably won't stop all the duplicate topics, but who knows?

I'm having a different but similar issue. I received the email, and I've successfully created the account and downloaded the client, but when I attempt to enter the provided key it says it has expired. I've checked that I copied the key correctly.

I'm guessing that the event has ended? I was really looking forward to getting to check out this event and finally see what's been going on with this project after only being able to follow it through the newsletters for all these years! I hope there's another opportunity to play sometime soon.

The event did expire yesterday, but we will be launching another event within a few months, and you can join that one!
