NCSoft may be thinking of ways to make money off the IP than a couple thousand players. There are people like Positive Gamer & Nova who are streaming the game, giving the IP publicity. That IP has been in their paws for this long for a reason. Now is a great time to gauge interest in the IP. That is just my take on this situation.

If people are playing, it is possible to record both the play, and the FPS using Fraps.


I think Fraps 3.5.99 is the free version.

It would be great to get some FPS nmbers in very crowded situations, like our Login Test was. Especially since it seems like the hosts have gone through a few generations of server configurations and may have it down pat now. Has anyone seen a Mothership Raid, or a Rikti Invasion with a lot of players crowded together?

This is not the old game. This was what was on the test server - Prior to the shutdown I guess. You can make any of the things without the prerequisites.

I think some people posted on the earler servers that the /showfps command was disabled, which is why I suggested Fraps.

Showfps is not working. Il have to DL fraps later. Does it have a built in FPS meter?

Of course I'm playing. It's incredible how happy the game makes me. And, yes, I donated to Ship/Titans/Valiance and am especially looking forward to Ship of Heroes.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm guilty of remaking my old characters too. Videoed them and their powers in action, then put them on the shelf until the fallout settles.
