$40/3 months ($13.33/month)
$70/6 months ($11.67/month)
$120/year ($10/month)

Flagwaver has correctly guessed what we are thinking right now, although we are also wondeirng if a 2 or 3 year option would interest players.

I may be interested in a 2 or 3 year, or even lifetime if the game turns out to be awesome in testing. I played CoH all 8 years, although I did take breaks. A lifetime sub would have saved me some money!

If I'm into a game, I'll drop for multi-year (and ok maybe a life time/depending), for myself and SO.

Yeah, I'd take a 2/3-year option if it saved me some cash over the yearly option.

I'd still like a lifetime option as one of the kickstarter rewards. I can see it not making financial success as a standard option long-term, though other games have done it, so *shrug*

I am also hoping for a lifetime sub option in the KS rewards, although it is unlikely that I will be able to cough up what it ends up costing.

I like the idea of a long run subscription. I also like the idea of what was called a founders account in CO. This was a permanent acct for a fixed price. Especially if it comes with a nice shiny badge. Shipwright perhaps?

That's not a bad idea Golden Stone, for the KS backers, the monthly cost will be (i.e)$7 a month however, when the game launches, new people can sign up for $10 a month. giving more incentive to back the game early

We're probably not going to actually settle most of the prices until we get closer to launch because it would be tragic if we underestimated some of our costs and committed too early to pricing that did not break even. But one thing we have said pretty clearly is that the model is to keep the costs reasonable and to recycle the cash that comes in over the bare operating costs into additional game development -- more powers, more archetypes, more missions, more worlds, more craftable stuff...

We need to get a bit closer to launch, and tie down some of the key costs more closely. But these numbers are generally in the ballpark, I think.

Wow the more i read from "Consultant" the more is feel confident in the management operations got it together .... i don't want them (the Development team) to get fabulously rich, but i don't want them to just brake even..... that never works ... i want them to make a reasonable prophet, Because i'm willing to pay a reasonable fee.

I'm happy that this game is being seen for the long run, not a simple cash grab. The communication from the Consultant has certainly proved his honest intention and I'm under no illusion he has used ALOT of his own money to create a game for the Superhero (CoH style) Fans. As someone who will be giving to the KS, I honestly hope the game grows gets bigger than CoH ever was.... just wish I wasn't so impatient and didn't have to wait!

I like the idea of a subscription because it seems like it will take away the pay to win element of some of the games out there now. Like CoH, you actually have to play to develop your character, not just spend loads of cash to buy your way up.

I'm willing to pay the standard rates like mentioned that we also see all over the place. I don't mind paying for a good game.

I'm definitely open to a lifetime option. I have lifetime subs on many MMO's.
