This is just my opinion, but I would like it if support buffs lasted longer and had a longer recharge, so you're not sitting there trying to keep buffs active the whole battle and can actually fight. I'm thinking CoH fortitude, regen/recovery auras, all bubbles, AM, speed boost, pretty much every buff I can think of except the ward from sorcery pool.
On a similar topic, CoH added mechanics so most buffs were team aoe, like speed boost and bubbles, so you could cast buffs once for everyone in range, fight 3-5 groups of mobs at minimum, recast, and be able to fight along side your team. Of course there were some exceptions of the more powerful buffs like fortitude for example still being single target only.
Also, some late level buffs that are more powerful but have a very long recharge, similar to the regen/recovery auras, fulcrum shift, etc
