Patching Question

Postby WRThore » Wed Nov 06, 2019 11:46 am

Not sure if this is the right forum to post in, so this may get bumped, however:

I am suggesting some way of patching the game that doesn't require having to re-download ALL 6.6 GB of data every time a change is made. Maybe my knowledge of patching systems is small, but usually a patch only patches what is being updated. Every time a patch comes out, the whole game is re-downloaded. Is this because the data file is one large file or something? Or perhaps the infrastructure for small patching is not instituted yet? Just wondering ... Thanks!

They can certainly do it. I received a 110Mb patch a few days ago. But since then we've had to download the whole thing each time.
