Got moved to the 4pm slot...wanted the 1pm slot but i guess that means there are lots of people wanting to participate...so thats cool.

But..

No email for the download link yet...but I have received two (one the 13th, and one the 14th) participation confirmations.

Will I get a link?

Also...being moved to 4pm (from the 1pm requested time) leaves me 1 hour to participate before i leave for work....hope thats long enough to do what is needed.

Thank you

10 AM, bright and early (for a Saturday anyways!) I have 3 alarms set to make sure I don't oversleep. I rocked out at the Trans-Siberian Orchestra show in Cincinnati tonight, but I'm going to try not to stay up too late, I promise! See you under the Arch, heroes!

I'm so sad! 😫 I've been looking forward to the test all week and my launcher got stuck at unpacking game and I could never get in at my 1:00 pm time.

I had really looked forward to this event, but alas the download speed was absolutely 20th century. I thought 7 hours would be plenty of time, given the high capacity on my side, but that was not to be. Even the zip file is still downloading, hours later. All other things online work normally, and I could stream high-resolution video without any effect on the download speed either when I started or when I stopped watching.

If you need any more information than I have provided here and in the "Download status" thread, I'll be happy to help out. But the best would probably be to distribute the client a day or two earlier for future events, and/or use BitTorrent.

Consultant, you may want to consider getting this bug fixed, lol. :D

Only other thing I noticed, was this odd, broken up skin texture. This was on various different graphic settings. This started happening after being on for about a half hour. The last 15 minutes is when it the skin graphics bug occured.

That was great. I'm amazed at the progress so far and the city looks beautiful!

Thanks so much for involving us all!
