Process for Mission Creation

We're talking process today -- process for mission creation.

By the way, we hear you, community members who say "just launch it!"

But we need some more time to get it the way we all want it. In the meantime, we are talking about what we're doing.

After today's newsletter, we have two videos and new Schedule to Release planned for the last six weeks of the year.

Good news. Please take your time to finish the game. Nobody wants a bug-fest at release...
A game’s graphics are meant to appeal. A game’s mechanics are meant to make you feel amazing or challenged. A game’s sound effects are supposed to add life. But a good game’s UI is meant to disappear!

And today we add a video and a newsletter on creating mission maps.

This kind of takes us through a topic that people have been asking about for a couple of years. And sets us up to have a discussion about how much content, and what kind of content the community wants to see.

Newsletters are also on this website. But in general, the biggest news about what is happening is this: we are getting ready to have another Beta event, one where players can run through some mission content.

The big issue for us is that we are trying to find and fix bugs. Making lots of progress, but kind of disturbingly, each time we add a new tester, the new tester sees stuff that all of the other testers did not see. Even though this is a Beta test coming up, we do not want to have a big-fest on display.

There will be some bugs discovered. But we want to minimize them in advance. That is what we are focused on.
