I am baffled to hear there are only 400 candidates for testing. Surely there must be a few thousand people who have paid $50, since the game is still being developed after two years. Are there other requirements I have overlooked?
IMHO SOH has been the Red headed step child in this race for a successor to COH. The ones before took a lot of money, and have Zero to show for it, so now backers are gun shy.

Agreed. This is the first game I've backed in quite a while. Other companies made promises, had almost no updates, and delivered a completely different product. However, I like the idea of SoH and I like what I've seen of it so far.

Boom

He nailed it. I am not eligible, because I am gun shy about giving to KS projects. I am not really concerned with playing, I just want to see whom I can trust.

Yesterday we discovered an error -- the doors to our nice, large hospital suddenly became 3.5 feet tall. Now if we were all hobbits, this could still work, but we're not all hobbits so...
Small doors for small heroes

On the other side the doors need to be large enough for tall and massive heroes.
I think the body shape I´m talking about was called "brute"

Have a hero with a "shrinking" power where they change costume to a tiny version. Like Ant Man.

Absolutely agree. I fell for this exact thing with one of the other developers. Not that I minded trying to help fund it at all, but that one has gone largely silent while SoH has raced from way behind to way ahead. Looking forward to the CCT Beta and making some capes up.

:)

It must be difficult to find the correct scale between characters and environment. In CO you could create a 6 feet hero and when entering the "game world" you recognized that he is a dwarf.
Everything in the game was huge, the bar in Caprice, tables, chairs nearly all the interior was made for 7 feet tall hereos or characters using an extension device. You could go to the trailor in the city center, there was a stadia rod. Even if you had a over 6 feet tall guy you looked like a dwarf when entering penthouses or other buildings.

I hope the devs are aware of this and doing it better in SOH.

"The CCT Beta will happen in October. We will likely announce an exact date today or tomorrow.

As you might expect, the date is all about fiddley little stuff. Yesterday we discovered an error -- the doors to our nice, large hospital suddenly became 3.5 feet tall. Now if we were all hobbits, this could still work, but we're not all hobbits so...

And we want to add a few additional costumes."

"So don't lose faith. It will be happening."
The Video was perfect.
Looking forward to receiving an email/Text/Message let me pre-answer if I would like to participate

PRE-YES defiantly!!! Check the box

Ah, ok. I'll put the patented Magico Shrinking Ray build on hold for now then.

Yep I wanted to shrink people ever since that mad scientist in the avengers shrank Mr. steed down to G.I. Joe size. Then of course there’s always the land of the Giants
