Positivity in the Community

Postby gemini » Mon Apr 01, 2019 6:42 am

One of the things we talk about when we remember CoH and that we look forward to for SoH is the overall positivity and sense of community in the game, especially compared to today's atmosphere in gaming.

Well, /r/Games is taking today to address some of today's concerns, and I thought this might be worth reading.

SMH Looking at their link for their examples of hate, vitriol, and bigotry is a sad statement on today's generation and society as a whole. :o

When we did our first look at what we wanted to create with SoH, the very first thing we listed was the positive community.

Really, that is the most important feature of the game.

We think people are hungry for this. I guess we've going to find out how many people are hungry for it when SoH launches. :)

I do miss the days when people were mature enough to keep their personal, political and religious beliefs to themselves and allow others to enjoy and be entertained with video gaming. I don’t need an idea or life style forced upon me. CoH had a proven system for dealing with those situations.
