Flagwaver walks into the lounge groggily. He walks up to the bar and grumbles something. You aren't sure, but it could be cookie, possibly coffee. The bar-tending droid pours a muddy black substance that looks like steaming tar. He takes a sip and consciousness returns to his zombie-like visage.

The now alive veteran looks at GladDog and nods. He them pulls a bottle out from behind the bar and sets it on the polished top.

"Bow," he says pointing at the top of the bottle. "Stern," he says pointing at the bottom of the bottle. "Where port, 'n starboard."

You can tell that the coffee hasn't quite revived all of his brain, but enough to get his point across.
He stumbles behind the bar, pushing the bartender a bit, reaches down and grabs a bottle of Vinho do Porto, puts it on the bartop and says, "Here's your port!" He throws a $20 at the barkeep and puts a glass in front of each of them. "I bought, you pour."

Responding to the radio request from the Robo-tender at the starboard lounge ... he wants more shine ( peach if i have it ) . I return with a new batch of shine ... to find flagwaver and gladdog both pointing a finger to the bottle-cap end of a the last serving container muddling something in the line of " pointee end". Placing the new order of shine on the port side of the starboard lounge bar , I slap a bill on the bar in front of the accused offensive bottle and say to the robo-tender loud enough for the patrons to here " Ga-day mate" enjoy the peach and tip my hat to the lady in the corner knitting, and exit the lounge through the north door.

X-307 turns towards Eulb, and begins to *clank* *clunk*
*clank* over to the new bottle.

X-307 is an old model. Unlike the newer, androgynous 9000 series which are designed to appeal broadly to any race or sex of customer through the vastness of known space, the 3000s we're manufactured in decidely humanoid male and female models, designated X and Y.

Good ...bzzZzz... day, friend!

A faulty speech synthesizer is the least of X-307's deficiencies. Six generations of service and cobbled repairs has resulted in a rather humble looking automaton with uncoordinated motor functions and a trailing cacophony of mechanical noises. An old, but well kept, black bowler hat and matching satin bow tie provide a refined, old world finish to the rusty ensemble. Only through the nostalgic doting of the ship's chief of engineering, has X-307 avoided decommission.

*Whiiiiiirrrrrrrrr* turning to face the heroes at the bar

Evening friends...Bzzzt... It's the official polic..y..y..yyyy... of the Starboard Lounge, it's employees, and automatons, to deny any incident ...tchhhzzzt... involving non-liquid spirits or supernatural attacks upon it's ...Zzzzrrrkk.. our guests.

Can I ser...vvvvffft.. serve you an alcoholic beverage?

I've heard those buzzing noises before. The only difference is that back then it was a Nemesis plot. Now... I wonder what that bot thinks of TPS reports.

Harlequynne goes past. On a surfboard, complete with wave.

"This is my star-board!" she says, pointing.

Then, just as suddenly, all the water is gone, as is she, and none of you are wet.

Though you will keep finding sand in odd places for days.

Gabrielle, aka EbonAngel, doesn't even bother to look up from the corner where she's drinking...well, you're not sure but from what the fumes are doing to the ceiling you reckon it's pretty strong. You just about make out what she mutters, under her breath.

"Lesson learned then. Don't eat your wallet."

Flagwaver looks up from his coffee and smirks. "Sounds like a normal morning when I was on leave in the Army." He takes another sip and swipes his cred-card across the reader to deposit a 5-cred tip to the bartender for good thick coffee.

"Supernatural alien gang member robots," Flagwaver says as he jumps to his feet with a smile. He shotguns the last of his beer and looks around. "Where at?"

A cute gray skinned gal in a trench coat with black braided hair held in a Japanese style broach walks in, obviously angry. She is making noise as she stomps in with every step. She walks up to GladDog and whirls his barstool around. "GET YOUR ASS OUT OF THIS BAR AND GO HELP WITH THE SHOP DAMMIT!" GladDog raises his head slowly to see the face of doom staring at him! He gets a pouty look and says quietly, "I don't wanna."

Her eyes start glowing red and her fist is surrounded by an eery black aura. She pulls back like she is going to smash his face! He looks back at her in a drunken stupor and lacking any emotion.

She looks at his deceptively innocent face, drops her fist as the aura fades, looks down and sighs. "Look, I know there hasn't been any supernatural robot alien gang members to fight lately, but this isn't the answer. Go sleep it off and then go help with unloading the next shipment in 8 hours."

He stands and starts walking out. He turns towards Flagwaver and Eulb and whispers, "she fell for it again."

As he walks out, he feels a smash against the back of his head, and that is the last thing he remembers that day.

She picks GladDog up and throws him over her shoulder and says, "I heard that..." as she walks out of the bar.

* eyeing the bartender warily *

I don't really trust 'bots (to no one in particular), had a lot of run-ins with those hunks of junk in the last place I was...

* looks to see if the bot-tender has a wind-up key, then feels a breeze *

GAH, I'm NAKED.... (again, to no one in particular).... Where are my cloths? Where is my costum.... ummm. (looks around) Did you say Day Job?

No time for that, there is EVIL to fight, a city to SAVE, civilians to RESCUE! ....

After I finish this extended lunch break...

* Grabs the mashed up sandwich *

Nom, Nom, Nom...

And get a costume...

* glances down *

And find some cloths to put over it...

Hummmm. Did some one with super speed take his clothes off .... bet its his spouse trying to make a point ...May be like GladDog getting encouraged to get back to work by his .... need to team more with Dakoson to find out who's taking his attire with Super Speed... Yep its shaping up to be another adventurous day here aboard SOH.
