The Grey Area

Postby JestersGhost » Fri Feb 10, 2017 5:47 pm

I figured since no one else had, I'd start the first recruitment thread :)

*The Grey Area* is a home for all heroes (or at least player :) that realise doing the right thing isn't the same as doing the good thing. Those brave souls who don't ask for or expect thanks or praise to do what they do. Those who understand that some lines needs to be crossed, but have the strength to walk back into the light again afterwards.

We'll be a pretty casual group - primarily intended as a way to find people to play with, whatever you want to do, be that PvP, PvE, missions, raids, TFs, badge hunting, whatever. I'm personally a weird mix of munchkin and role-player - I'll pick story-based combos and powersets that may be considered weak but fit the character, but then tweak and incarnate the heck out of them :)

I like to think we'll encourage a decent balance between enjoying both the world and the game of SoH. If that sounds like your cup of tea, I guess I'll see you in game :D

(oh, and bonus points for anyone who guesses where the name comes from :D )

Sounds like a pretty neat concept. Coincidentally, it fits the concept of my character Taivas so if this comes to fruition I'd definitely be interested in being part of it. Anti-heroes and misunderstood beings have always intrigued me more than straight up boyscouts.

I know you're joking, but if I could predict the future that way I wouldn't be using it to name my supergroup :P

I'm impressed at the effort y'all are spending trying to figure this out :P

I'll give y'all a clue - it's actually from something quite similar to the setting of this game.

No real surprise since it's unrelated to the game directly. It's surprisingly relevant to the setting of SoH, but certainly wasn't to CoH, which is when it first existed.

What is Reality, what a Dream? Is the dream changing your reality or is the reality defining your dreams? Only one being aware, that awareness can never be complete can use both to become the best possible and combine both to form the future! PDM
