Thought it would make a good idea for a thread since we're going to
need a place to showcase and discuss our costume designs.

Once we get a a working Costume Creator this can be a place to show off what new cool things we find in the CC.
Until then I guess it will be more to show what kind of things we are hoping to create (or recreate) in SoH.

For players you could ask for opinions or help if you cannot find a good match in the CC for what you want.
For devs they can get a quick look at what kinds of things are popular or what we would like to see
more of or what's missing that we would like to have made available in future updates.

What do you guys think?

I'll start with my design for Brahn Fuhrnos which I cut away from the background
and then made slight modifications to (hair and beard mostly) in Photoshop.





I am willing to experiment and try different options for the gloves and pants depending
on whats available in the CC or "Design Studio" but the rest I am pretty pleased
with and can hopefully find something similar or identical to work with.

Well what is the point of that, if we don't have access to Character Creation yet? Isn't it a bit too soon to work on costumes ideas? Without a working Character Creator first. Now I do know that they already have one, but I wonder, will they be able to release one for our convenience?

It's what I have now. I know what my heroes look like now and when we get access to the CC I will see how close I can get or what changes I make. Maybe someone else will have an idea that would work for my hero or vice versa. People can surprise you like that.

Also it's never too early to plan out your heroes.

As SoH is a successor of CoH, costume designs from CoH seem quite appropriate to post here, imo. Who knows, it may lead to similar costume options in SoH!

Obviously, my most favorite costumes are the ones I put on my mains.

Alternative costume (in drawings I tend to combine both suits sometimes).



When using them in other games, I would try and get close to these suits. (though often they looked nothing like it, because the CC's in most games are just rubbish to begin with)

Hot Damn! For every person that questions why you even consider doing something it
appears there are many who will see your simple cut away and raise you with
multiple suits, angles, stats and art. It seems I must up my game!

I made a comic yes but 4 issues. I don't want to seem like I am pushing that. Also the board game isn't out yet. Still working on it I should be doing a kickstarter in September. Its a long process been working on it for 3 years, it will be 4 years by the time September hits.

I have to say my favorite costume is this one:

The whole character grew out of that coat, although the original costume was a bit neater, due to the long, trailing veil.
