I really don't like the micro-transaction flooding in Free to Play. Subscription based, or Base game + paid for expansions are both fine to me. And while we are carefully working to make solo play fun and rewarding, we do intend to reward team play in many ways. And teams benefit when each character has a role to fulfill.

I had no problem with bonus packs and content, but the gambling piece is unneeded and unwanted.

I have missed the community since CoH closed. While I'm watching the other projects, this was the first one that talked about the game and the "feel" of it, the way I remember and the way I would want to play again.

I am cautiously optimistic.
