Re: The best task force/trials in COH

I too agree with abovementioned.
It should be possible for all the included players to share the storyline fun
Yeah, a chat tab for "Story" would be good - all contact dialogue can be broadcast to the group through that channel?

Re: The best task force/trials in COH

Well all I can say is that looking at the current mission maps video, it looks like there's a setting just about ready for a Terra-Volta style trial. I'm sure that can't be a coincidence. ;)

Re: Unobtainium?

I thought the power source would be along the lines of some sort of trans-dimensional element that's pulled into our universe by a device that contains it within a strong force field or mini-black hole. Particles are allowed to leak out and are the energy is harnessed. Perhaps some heroes would have...

Re: Ship of Heroes Videos

If there's going to be a game intro video when the game first launches on your machine with some back-story, I reckon Consultant should turn his hand to doing a bit of voiceover work. :D

Re: Just what I was worried/talking about.

I will definitely play SEGS casually. I think they are working with the first ever client though which I presume means it won't have the graphics upgrade?

Looking forward to SoH and CoT however - I can find room for two games if they both deliver :D

Re: The fireworks effect

+1 here - I enjoyed the chaos of the audio-visual overload in big teams. All part of the experience and adds to the frantic combat feel. :)

You could always limit it visually by dialing down the maximum particles slider if I remember correctly in CoH.

Re: Unobtainium?

I think the original intention was for it to be a "fun", tongue-in-cheek term but it's had the unintended effect of yanking the collective chains of the more hardcore sci-fi geeks.

see :D what I have said - teleport is the coolest :P
Sounds like fun - portals allowing you to grief other players by putting them into an endless fall :D

Youtube comments - one of the most toxic troll havens on the internet. I wouldn't worry about it.

Re: Super Group size question

I voted 10-50 mainly because that's what I was used to in CoH. If the SG's are too large you never really get to know anyone in them. If they're too small, you can have problems finding people to team with. Pro's and cons for large and small... This... I think the SG I was in must have been about 1...

Re: Inspirations as food question

hey, nothing to be sorry for always interesting to hear something new :) Oh, I am all for Fantasy and SF, it is just, that I use my PS4 mainly for my Sports Simulation (FIFA - sorry in Europe we are more into Soccer than in the States ;) ). I explained my wife I need the PS4 and the game for therap...

Re: Inspirations as food question

thanks for the info :) not never played fallout ;). I always been kind of narrowed down to only a few selected games, since my hobbies and wife don´t leave many time to play ;) So I choose what I really want and only try out new stuff when it absolutely hooks me from the beginning or friends talk m...

Re: Inspirations as food question

I just cannot agree with putting drugs/stims into your body as part of a hero game. What about all that reckless glugging of potions Geralt does in the Witcher? :D I don't see much difference between eating herbs/plants for their active ingredients and using a stim to be honest but I suppose it dep...

Re: Inspirations as food question

I prefer the idea of Stimpaks, pills or patches that would be craftable. stimpaks? Sorry am not sure, what you mean by that (like stim short for stimulation or do get that wrong?) You obviously haven't played any of the fallout games, then. :D Basically, yes. Think along the lines of the Star Trek ...
