Re: Number of Costume Sets Question

I'm pretty ambivalent on this one to be honest. I do tend to spend a lot of time in a character creator but once I've settled on a character, I don't go back to change it very often. When CoH closed, I didn't have a single character with more than three costumes created on it. As far as I'm concerne...

Re: October Outlook

I like the look of that ball lightning! I can see a change of direction for my defender...

Re: COH addiction cure...

Nice meeting everyone on 14th :) Re: the Vidiotmaps overlay. We used to use it to display badge locations back in the day and it still works. You can download it from sourceforge at https://sourceforge.net/projects/vidiotmaps/ - don't use any other site! You run the program and tell it where to put ...

Re: Music

I like hearing the music in a game the first few times but when you get the same tracks over and over and over it starts to get annoying. So, I'm all for music as long as there's a way to turn it down... all the way to zero

Re: What kind of power you are hoping to see or want to suggest?

I'm not sure if this has been suggested yet, but a magical summoner would be great. Especially of tentacled alien critters! :) Tentacles brings back memories of Lusca! I suppose, officially, there couldn't be any connection but there's nothing to stop the players making up a tenuous relationship wi...

Hmm, that's 9pm in the UK. Definitely doable, unless I've been uncommonly busy for a weekend and have already fallen asleep! And that's a definite possibility...

Re: First Archetype question part 2

WOW that is interesting all vote are really close ... wow ... so making a even teams will not be hard ... wow That's always a good sign :) Especially for those of us in support roles who don't always find soloing that easy :p Sometimes I found it hard to die but got bored taking an hour to take dow...

Re: Greetings citizens!

Hi there. Welcome aboard!

Must admit I thought twice about the idea of a ship of heroes but the more I thought about it the more it grew on me. The potential scope for missions and various villain groups on other planets is enormous.

Re: First Archetype question part 2

Mine will probably be a defender, purely because my very first character on CoH was a defender ;)

Re: Keybinding

I can't say I ever did much with that aspect of the game. Talking about basic keybinds though, I soon learned to remap 'autorun' away from ANYTHING that I'd normally press. I can't even remember the number of times we'd be standing around waiting for slowcoaches to catch up and I'd start typing with...

Re: Revealing Gameplay question

I think, especially for indie studios, word of mouth and support from fans on social media and gaming sites is quite important. Bearing that in mind, some time spent keeping people updated with progress reports and, especially gameplay videos is probably time well spent. Progress reports are great, ...

Great news. Sounds as if things are going well :)

I do like the way we're being kept informed so well of progress. It really helps to increase confidence in the team and the project. There's nothing worse than deathly silence ;)

Re: MO Poll

For a bunch of games who claim to not be competing, it sure is ironic to see how much focus there is on comparison polling.

Re: Hiya!

Hi there. Always good to see a new face... or name :) Think you got your wires crossed though. The 'CoH successors' are not being developed by the same people who developed the original game. That can't be done for, as I understand it, licensing issues amongst other things. Cryptic created CoH and i...
