Re: Hasten on it own?

many of these discussions, while fun, are fairly pointless. We have no idea that SOH will even have something like hasten or accelerated metabolism.

Re: Latest VIdeo (New Combat Alpha Features)

I completely agree.
You guys continue to make steady improvements. Steady progress at any pace keeps me involved way more that big jumps with starvation for info between...like months and months of silence. Or constant updates that over promise or are devoid of meaningful info

Re: Hasten on it own?

devs wanted Trinity play I have to disagree on this. The devs put out a game based on a more flexible system than straight role assignment like wow uses today. Players came from places like EQ and they expected that kind of rigid system. The game improved a ton over time. grouping in later issues w...

Re: Le subscription Prices

Why not consider the Guild Wars 2 model of " buy box , cash shop\buy In game\, earn in gamecash,, buy later expansion boxes" in addition to a sub fee option? I want the game to do well, but don't care for sub fees. I paid for the deluxe version Of GW2 up front and buy in game gems as often as I can...

Re: Hasten on it own?

like I pointed out elsewhere, hasten by itself was rarely a problem, but it was key to some builds that quickly became a problem. My own build was one of them, I had to rebuild it after ED, but found out I was better off (in my opinion) and was a better player without perma-AM I came to rely more o...

Re: Farming / Herding

The biggest reason ED was put in was unbalanced build like permahaste etc. Had nothing to do with herding your not wrong but.... The system as was one could 6 slot a power with the same enhancement and this was how it was delivered to us launch (post Beta play). So it seems unfair to call it unbala...

Re: Friendly Debate...

Wow I had 100% the opposite opinion of CoH
It had the best non-healer support classes of any mmo ever. It did so well without a forced model anything like a triniTr.
I did the Respec trial with nothing but scrappers and a bubble defender....

I hated the balance issues that came about because of not being able to target yourself

Definitely looking forward to the character creater and power/slot build fiddling the most.
But just having a good super hero MMO is the most

Re: Farming / Herding

My specific bad experience with herding came in the early days of the game in Perez Park. Someone was herding the entire perimeter into one corner for funsies. They left no groups open for anyone else that were currently on the hellions and skulls related missions. That turned me off for the rest of...
