As a player whose primary character was a mind/sonic controller (yes, I even took both confuses) even a low powered option for a directed, direct damage would have been very welcome. Can't tell you how many sluggers I went through.

To be fair, it was Solari's idea, but I can't imagine they would last more than a handful of seconds. Maybe a quick redisplay after being tab targeted?
I like the lore suggestion too, but I think the effect would be diminished in an mmo where you, the player, have seem hundreds of that enemy.

I like fading nameplates. Let's me identify the enemy accurately and gives the group a way to agree on nomenclature. On the other hand, it gets out of my view and isn't too intrusive to my immersion. Plus it lets the fabulous visuals do their work without a mishmash of floating names clouding the UI.

The idea of travel power suppression is one of the reasons I've advocated for travel powers as mini powersets themselves. Really torn on what to vote for; all of those behaviors sound like great gameplay additions. My first vote would vendor enemies that flee, solely based on the fact that low level play would obviously come first, and I can see street thugs fleeing when presented with a superior hero.

I think that earning a weak or limited travel power at a low level or even right out of the gates, is permissible. A fully developed power too early would, I feel, allow people to miss a lot of the struggle and strife that helps you build an understanding of your character's base abilities. As my pr...

Well, do we have solid assurance of level 1 travel powers? Even if we do, there is no saying they'll be fully fledged from the get go. Maybe super speed starts as a super jog? Maybe more advanced versions like bullet flight or group teleportation become available later?
