Re: The Next Event

I am sorry to say I have to join the bench with those waiting for a more efficient patcher. The Internet infrastructure here in Norway is kind of strained due to all the people working from home and at odd hours during the pandemic, so I cannot say with any certainty that I would be able to keep the...

Re: Crafting

OK, to contribute something hopefully useful. What I'd like to see: Gear heroes (think Iron Man, for a showcase) who need to craft, but who also have a massive bonus to it and massive benefits from it, to the point where their progression in the game is on a par with other non-gear heroes. What I'd ...

Re: Crafting

OK, let me try this again.

I disagree strongly with the thought that "crafting should matter". This sounds like a completely different game from what I have supported up to now.

Maybe I have misunderstood. I'm following this thread and hopefully I'll learn more before I make a final decision.

Re: does the game have a release date yet? read 2019 but is it?

Making a modern superhero game is harder than it looks. Earlier this year, the plan was to have a soft launch / paid beta by the end of 2019. Before that they wanted to run a character creation test, a limited raid test, and an instanced mission test. The character creation test ran in November this...

Patches/updates

Something to think about for your next beta may be a way to update the game without downloading every byte of every file again from the start. This seems to be in your interest as well as ours, since I assume you have to upload everything we download. Unless you implement some P2P filesharing system.

Re: Update on the CCT Beta

Tangential to the topic of "hero type": I am privileged in many ways, but the gift of design was not bestowed upon me. DIY character design is a risk sport when I am involved: Without assistance, I can not safely move any slider more than 20% to the left or right without an imminent risk of monstros...

Re: Update on the CCT Beta

Are we not restricted to one character slot for this test? I seem to remember that we can only save one.

Re: Update on the CCT Beta

If you want Venus, then you need the butt sliders. Remember, this beauty was called Venus Callipyge (or in Greek, Aphrodite Kallipygos) meaning "Venus of the beautiful buttocks". With all due respect for Swordblossom and her friends, I don't think they would qualify for that title - although we may ...

Re: Update on the CCT Beta

Butt-sliders? This is not League of Maidens you know? Don`t forget all the roleplayers. They WILL adjust the camera angle to see the faces of thier likeminded. In a RP-session you can watch all the face details of your opposite. I am not talking about looking at butts for the purpose of looking at ...

Re: Update on the CCT Beta

Less face sliders, more butt sliders. The time you'll spend looking at your character's retina - let alone that of other characters - is likely to be extremely limited. In contrast, butts will be everywhere. Mostly your own, but others too. Butts don't just have size, they also have shape. And they ...

Re: Update on the CCT Beta

Is there a new client executable? If so, could we possibly get to download it the day before, to allow for technical difficulties on the receiving end? I was slightly disappointed to not be able to participate in your previous alpha test due to such issues.

Re: Update on the CCT Beta

I am baffled to hear there are only 400 candidates for testing. Surely there must be a few thousand people who have paid $50, since the game is still being developed after two years. Are there other requirements I have overlooked?
