I had a LOT more fun playing Dominators than Controllers. Me too. Though the Controller was my SECOND fave. The Dominator just did loads better on her own than the Controller did. It'll honestly probably depend on how the power sets look. Different things appeal for different reasons. Earth/Earth Dom was SO much fun but I doubt there will be anything quite like that to start. But for a first? Most likely a Defender or Tank.

I want a persistent apartment in one of the towers. Naturally there would be a mission door to it and some other players would trash my apartment and I would come home from a long day of fighting aliens and go, "Wha...? Not again!"

Balancing solo-ability with group content is always going to be difficult. I think there needs to be a place for largely solo heroes, but grouping should have tangible rewards to avoid a culture of people that don't want to group up because it's more efficient and effective to run things solo. I am having similar issues. Additionally, the site just up and stopped working in Chrome (Bad Request). Dunno what that's about. Same machine loads the site okay in Safari.

Buffs and debuffs obviously need limits, but one of the best things about CoX was that both were very viable functions. Controllers and Dominators were the only ATs I got to the cap (with some Defenders very close) and that was primarily on the strength of their viability as buff/debuff engines. The...

I think one advantage of street missions is keeping players out in the open where they can encounter one another. I never liked static packs of bad guys that never really moved, though.
