Is there no other way to get into this game? If not, I guess once again I lose an investment and learn to avoid being a sucker by trying to support new games and companies.

We are sorry you are having such difficulty with Steam. To be clear, Ship of Heroes does not require a credit card to participate in its current beta. We appreciate your support and hope that your current difficulties can be resolved. Logically, it seems that you should be able to change credit card on your account.

We moved to Steam because of the infinitely better download and patcher experience it provides. Downloading time has been greatly reduced and patching now takes minutes instead of hours. This being said, no system is perfect. But we are a very small team and cannot support multiple download methods at this time.

We hope you are able to resolve your issues with Steam and look forward to have you in the game. If anyone reading this has been able to resolve a similar issue with Steam, I am sure Drbuzzard might appreciate your posting a suggestion.
