Our Steam store page is live!

We were looking at what would be required for Ship of Heroes to be accessible through Steam Deck. Currently, Ship of Heroes is Windows base. Steam Deck is Linux based. One of our dev has Ship of Heroes working on one version of Linux. This suggests that it might be possible to adapt Ship of Heroes to be compatible with Steam Deck. But it would require some adaptation.
The screen on the Steam Deck is smaller than a typical PC monitor. Our UI is pretty busy: to play, you need to be able to see at a minimum the minimap, action bar, status bar, group GUI and chat, while leaving enough room for pop ups and playing. The UI would definitely require some adaption.
Currently, we are very focused on the launch on PC. So only one thing is sure: no support for the Steam Deck at launch as that would delay the launch. But beyond that, no firm decision has been made.

That's a good question. Consultant or one of his tech people should be able to answer. but they might have to contact steam to find out for sure. if Consultant or Integral don't respond today I'll bump this up to their attention.
Sometimes You Feel Like a Tank, Sometimes You Don't
I have been considering getting Steam's new portable console PC for some time now, and really would like it to be my next gaming purchase. It would be nice to know however, since Heroic seems to be partnering with steam, will your game be playable on deck? The deck is supposed to be able to handle a wide range of Windows based applications but some games, specifically ones using Easy Anti Cheat, have stated they will not support play on deck.
I am curious, will this be an issue with SoH?
Thank You for your time.
